IBISCHK7 parser development: - Mike showed - Mike: Can we require BCI_Protocol values to not be empty? - Bob: We might have a rule that all String values are not empty. - Mike: Model_Specific values might legitimately be empty. - We can regulate Reserved_Parameters. - Bob: We must not have a check that is not in the spec, except for warnings. - The existence requirements do not key off BCI_Protocol. - If any one exists all must exist. We need to be sure about the numeric checks too. - Mike: The check against Ignore_Bits could be dropped. AR: Mike LaBonte to check for empty String value requirements. - Bob Ross showed IBISCHK Parser Income and Funding Update. - Slide 3: - Bob: Carrying over the prior parser income is important. - Slide 4: - Mike: Maybe IBISCHK6 should be here too. - What are the Cost per License numbers? - Bob: The price charged for the parser, originally $500. - In some iterations we changed prices. - Slide 7: - Bob: The IBISCHK6 line here could be moved to slide 4. - The TSCHK2 developer was paid with only a free license. - Mike: That slide mixes three different topics - Bob Ross showed the IBIS financial ledger spreadsheet. - Bob: The parser column G shows the full SAE history. - This shows that parser income and expenses span years. - We can't count on getting more than 10 purchases. - Mike: It would be good if some additional feature could sell more licenses. - Bob: If the cost for IBISCHK7 is too high, what do we cut out? - Mike: We might need to survey parser purchasers on that. - Bob: We might press other companies to purchase. - Bob: I might change the chronology of the presentation. - Bob Ross moved to adjourn.
